Patient Transport Services Engagement You Said, We Did

Keeping the Wheels in Motion - Patient Transport Services Engagement You Said, We Did

North and North East Lincolnshire CCGs recently carried out engagement with local people and stakeholders about the future of non-emergency patient transport services. We wanted to know what people thought to help inform the specification for NHS Patient Transport Services which are currently being re-commissioned.

People had a lot to tell us and the findings from this engagement were put into a report which included a number of recommendations for the CCGs to consider.

We have now published our You Said, We Did document which provides an update on the procurement of the new provider and explains how the outcomes from this engagement informed not only the specification for Patient Transport services but also the wider planning around transport to access health services.

This engagement has given us a wealth of information and ideas about the things people need that support them to access health services. This insight is valuable and means we can keep patients and their carers at the centre as we plan services for the future.

You can still read the full report which was included in the Invitation To Tender documents for potential providers to take into account when developing their proposals.
