Health Matters 4
In August 2016 more than 100 people attended the North Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group's (NLCCG) fourth Health Matters public and stakeholder event. These events bring together local health and care commissioners and providers to talk about some of their plans; answer questions and listens to people’s experiences and views.
At the event, people were able to find out more or have their say about:
- Progress on the plans shared at the Health Matters 3 event last January including:
- CCG’s commissioning intentions for 2016/17
- Care Networks
- Community Equipment and Independent Living Services
- Working with others to deliver safe, sustainable services including the Better Care Fund, Accountable Care Partnership, Healthy Lives, Healthy Futures and the Humber Coast and Vale – Sustainability and Transformation Plan
- Developing Social Prescribing in North Lincolnshire
- Quality in health care services
- Mental health services for adults and children including inpatient services for children and adolescents
- Diabetes prevention programme
Below are documents providing an update from all the facilitators and presenters at the event explaining what people told them and what they are going to do about it.
Health Matters 3
In January 2016 over 100 people attended Health Matters 3. This was the third event of this nature the CCG has hosted, the first being in January 2015 and the second the following August.
Health Matters 3 brought together a number of different local health and social care organisations to talk about some of their plans, answer questions and listen to people’s experiences and views.

Health Matters 2
Some things really matter to all of us and in August 2015, more than 90 people attended Health Matters 2 – a public event to help North Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and its partners in health and social care to improve or develop new services.
The local health community wants to make sure people get the support they need to become more involved in their own wellbeing, whether it’s taking care of themselves so they can live healthier lives and feel better or having a real say about how we design the care they and their families might use now or need in the future.
Health Matters 2 brought together a number of different local health and social care organisations to talk about some of their plans, answer questions and – most importantly – listen to people’s experiences and views.

Health Matters 1
This was the first Health Matters event and took place in Spring 2015. The CCG shared its achievements over its first two years as an organisation and the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. There was discussion about the national context of the CCG's work and senior officers shared its commissioning plans, including details of key priorities and how these have been shaped by the views of the public and stakeholders we have engaged with.
There was also an update about the Healthy Lives Healthy Futures programme and how this was driving forward essential change to future healthcare services in northern Lincolnshire.
Three discussion groups looked in more depth at one particular area of work. There were:
- Frail and Elderly (Better Care fund)
- Mental Health
- Long Term Conditions
A detailed summary of the group discussions is available here.
